Queens STEM Girls

ABOUT US

Queens STEM Career Women, Inc. is a 501(3)(c) community based non-profit made up of a group of professional women dedicated to inspiring young women and girls to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Women remain underrepresented in these fields and we feel compelled to take an active role in changing this.

QSCW was founded in 2016 by Karen R. Wellington, a retired mathematics teacher who taught in New York City for over 26 years. We host STEM workshops and conferences throughout the year to engage the next generation of women STEM leaders.

Please join our mailing list if you are interested in volunteering or participating in any of our events.
